About
StraightCue is made by Comotoca, a small software studio. “Como toca” is Spanish for roughly “the way it's supposed to be done” — the studio's name is also its design brief: calm, precise and unhurried tools, not games. No eight-balls, no flames, no neon.
StraightCue started from a simple frustration: pool players spend hours at the table without a record of what they actually practiced. The app turns practice into drills you can repeat, log, and measure, whether you're working on a single straight-in shot or a full kicking-and-banking routine. Scores are computed on the server so every player sees the same numbers for the same attempts.
It's built for players who already know they want to get better and are willing to keep a log to do it: league players, students of a coach, anyone who treats a pool table as something to train on rather than only play on.
